Have you read my previous post? If not, you should read it, otherwise you'd be confused about what I'm talking about here! For those of you who have read it, I'm carrying on from where we left off last time. So, let's reach a solution: Do we waste paper, or electricity? This is one of the hardest decisions to make (the hardest being whether to have a dairy milk bar or galaxy bar for snack. My cousin prefers the dairy milks, but I like the galaxies, especially the caramel one and the cookie crumble).

Anyway, we now come to a whole new idea. Re-cycling. Recycle paper! You might be jotting down someone's phone number, for example, but do you need a whole new blankety-blank sheet of paper for that? Of course not! Simply pull a bit out of the recycling bin to write down your friend's number. But is it always the case that you can write/draw on a scrappy bit of paper? Well, probably not. You might have homework for school where you have to draw something or make a poster, and if I were to use a scrunched-up piece of paper for that, I know for a fact my teachers would a. think I'm extremely weird, b. Give me a low mark, and c. probably a detention. So using recycled paper isn't always the answer. Then... what is?
As I was writing that last bit, I had no idea what to say next, because I know about as much as you about recycling, and, if you reading this are also a Year 8 pupil, it really isn't a lot. But then an idea came into my head. I opened a new window on Google and typed "eco friendly paper". In less than a second I received 192 million results! I have now read all about eco-friendly paper, and though it may not be the easiest option, it definitely helps our environment.
Click here for more information!So... I guess that's the paper matter sorted. Using eco-friendly paper saves you from detention, and from Global Warming! As soon as I finish writing this, I am definitely going to
order some eco friendly paper (click here!) to help look after our environment, and if you'd like to help out, do the same! Yep, we've definitely reached a solution with what to do for paper. Only one more thing left to decide... what chocolate bar is better- galaxy or dairy milk? Comment below and give me your opinion!

DeleteGreta Thunberg wrote a book called "No one is too small to make a difference". If we all try, WE can be the difference. Whether it be right now, today, or just this week, raise awareness in your family, and in your school. Let's protect our environment. Remember, there is no planet B. This is our only chance, so let's take it.
